IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas participated in the "Digital Single Market Harmonization Strategy 2^nd Stakeholder Workshop" organized by İstanbul Apparel Exporters’ Association (İHKİB) on 23 May 2023 and gave a presentation titled "EU Digital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence Strategy".

The workshop was held within the scope of the project “From Design to Production: Digital Transformation in the Ready-to-Wear Sector in Türkiye METAMORPHOSIS” funded within the framework of the EU and Republic of Türkiye financial cooperation and supported within the scope of the “Competitive Sectors Program” carried out by the Ministry of Industry and Technology. In her presentation, Assoc. Prof. Nas evaluated the digital agenda, which is one of the most important priorities of the EU, and gave information on the EU's objectives, actions and legislative development in this context. Addressing the EU's artificial intelligence strategy, Assoc. Prof. Nas emphasized that the artificial intelligence draft prepared by the European Commission is a first in the world and will have a significant impact on shaping global norms in the field of artificial intelligence.
