IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas wrote an article for the news portal “Politikyol”. The title of the article, published on 5 February 2023, was “The West’s Approach to Türkiye and the EU Process” In her article, Nas touched upon the problems faced in Türkiye-EU relations and noted that significant changes have occurred in the approach of the West and the EU towards Türkiye in recent years. Stating that these are due to both the international conjuncture, the internal structure of the EU and the developments in Türkiye, Nas noted that perceptions and attitudes towards Türkiye affect the future of relations.
