IKV Chairman Ayhan Zeytinoğlu attended the Green Deal Working Group meeting chaired by Deputy Minister of Trade Mustafa Tuzcu on 25 July 2022 and shared his views on the progress made under the Green Deal Action Plan.

Within the scope of the Green Deal Action Plan published by the Ministry of Trade on 15 July 2021, a working group was formed with the participation of the business community and civil society organisations. Chairman Zeytinoğlu drew attention to the importance of the European Green Deal at the working group meeting. Reminding that the recent energy crisis has led many countries turn to fossil fuels, Chairman Zeytinoğlu stated that the main goal should be to accelerate the transition to renewable resources and sustainable production methods and that public and private sector cooperation will be decisive in this direction.
