IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas spoke at the conference held at Samsun 19 Mayıs University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences on 4 April 2022. The economic dimension of Turkey-EU relations was discussed at the conference, which was co-organised by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation and the European Negihborhood Council within the scope of the project titled “Beyond Erasmus: Education, Exchange and Employment Opportunities for Youth in the EU and Turkey.”

In her speech, Assoc. Prof. Nas discussed the establishment of the EU-Turkey Customs Union, its problematic areas, and modernisation. Other speakers were FNF Turkey Office Permanent Representative Beate Apelt, ENC Director Samuel Vesterbye, Faculty Vice Dean Dr. Özgür Özaydın, ENC Project Director Andreas Marazis, and young people involved in the project.
