IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas spoke at the panel titled “Green Deal and Turkey’s Energy Agenda” organized by International Relations Council (UIK) and Bodrum Municipality on 6 November 2021. Emphasizing the transformation underway in the light of the European Green Deal, Assoc. Prof. Nas evaluated its reflections in terms of different policies and its effects on Turkey. The importance and effects of climate policies and green transformation at the local level were also discussed in the panel. Other speakers of the panel, which was moderated by TOBB University of Economics and Technology Faculty Member Prof. Haldun Yalçınkaya, included Bodrum Mayor Ahmet Aras, Kadir Has University Faculty Member and UIK President Prof. Mustafa Aydın and London Energy Club President Mehmet Öğütçü.
