On 23 October 2021, IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas participated in the event held by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation on the occasion of its 30th anniversaty. Various seminars and a gala dinner were held as part of the event which took place in Bodrum. Attending the session entitled “The Future of Turkey-EU Relations” as a speaker, Assoc. Prof. Nas gave information on the state of play and expectations regarding the future of Turkey-EU relations.

Other speakers of the session moderated by journalist Nevşin Mengü included Anne Brasseur, former President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, EDAM Research Coordinator and Kadir Has University Faculty Member Prof. Sinem Akgül Açıkmeşe, Prof. Murat Erdoğan from the Turkish-German University and Demir Murat Seyrek from the European Foundation for Democracy.
