IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas participated in a webinar entitled "Water Awareness and Efficiency" held on 4 March 2021. During the webinar jointly organised by Kocaeli Industry Chamber, Kocaeli EU Information Center and Kocaeli Directorate General of Water and Sanitation, the significance of water as a resource rapidly running out as well as the ways to increase water efficiency were disccussed. Speaking at the webinar Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas assessed water policies in the context of the EU's environmental policies. IKV Secretary General Nas delivered a presentation on the EU legislation regarding reuse of waste water, drinking water standars and efficient use of water while arguing that European Green Deal has introduced a new perspective on production, consumption and use of resources.
