IKV organised a webinar entitled “Turkey-EU Relations and Germany’s EU Presidency”with the participation of Turkey’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı on 28 May 2020.

IKV Chairman Ayhan Zeytinoğlu delivered the opening speech and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı shared his assessments on the current developments in the EU and various aspects of Turkey-EU relations at the webinar which was moderated by IKV Strategy and Business Development Director M. Gökhan Kilit.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Kaymakcı responded to questions raised by the audience concerning EU policies on enlargement, security, external relations and economic recovery as well as the priorities of Germany’s upcoming EU Presidency and its possible implications for Turkey EU relations.
