The Sustainable Food Summit, which was jointly organised by Sustainability Academy and Turkish Food and Beverage Industry Employers Association with the support of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), was held on 17 October 2019 in İstanbul.

IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas moderated the panel entitled “Turkish Agriculture and the Position of Food in the Customs Union” while IKV Strategy and Business Development Director M. Gökhan Kilit,talked about the modernisation of the Customs Union and its possible implications for the Turkish agriculture sector in the panel.
