The Visa Liberalisation Dialogue negotiations between Turkey and the European Commission, which were initated in accordance with the Readmission Agreement signed on 16 December 2013, have been going on for eight years. Although Turkey has already completed 66 out of 72 criteria within the scope of the Visa Liberalisation Road Map, the talks have almost come to a stalemate.
