IKV organised a meeting hosted by Kütahya Chamber of Commerce and Industry entitled “The Effects of the Modernised Customs Union Upon the Business World” on 24 January 2018 with the aim of raising awareness of the possible effects of the modernisation of Turkey-EU Customs Union. In the meeting, IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas gave information about the modernisation process of the Customs Union. Afterwards, IKV Strategy and Business Development Director delivered a speech on the modernisation of the Customs Union and its impacts on agricultural sector. Lastly, IKV Research Director Çisel İleri gave information regarding the EU funds that the business world can benefit. At the end of the meeting, IKV publications were given to participants.
