Students from the International Trade and Finance Student Club of Bülent Ecevit University visited IKV on the 28^th November 2014. IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas and IKV Deputy Secretary General and Research Director Melih Özsöz gave detailed information on Turkey-EU Relations and the latest developments regarding Turkey’s EU accession negotiations.

IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas gave information about the various projects and activities carried out by IKV. In her presentation, Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas also evaluated the latest developments in Turkey’s accession negotiations with the EU.

IKV Deputy Secretary General and Research Director Melih Özsöz made a presentation on the main outcomes of his latest publication entitled “Mathematics of Progress: A Different Look at European Commission’s Turkey Progress Reports” which analyze the Progress Reports prepared by the European Commission on Turkey. He also gave detailed information on the visa issue by tackling its political, legal, economic and human dimensions.  In his presentation, Özsöz also explained the visa Liberalisation Dialogue which was launched in December 2013.
