IKV Delegation led by Chairman Ömer Cihad Vardan and accompanied by IKV Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the General Secretariat of Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporters’ Associations (IHKIB) Hikmet Tanrıverdi, IKV Secretary General Secretary General Assoc. Prof Çiğdem Nas and IKV Project Manager Çisel İleri visited the Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Fikri Işık in his office.

During this meeting, IKV gave detailed information on the aim and the various activities carried out by IKV. He also also stated that IKV as a NGO specialized in EU Affairs was ready to contribute to the works carried by the Ministry related to the EU.

Pointing out that IKV will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2015, Chairman Vardan emphasized IKV has been the only civil society organization working for 50 years in the field of EU Affairs.  Congratulating also IKV for all its contributions, Minister Ala also gave detailed information on the mission of the Ministry.
