Minister of Trade Prof. Ömer Bolat visited IKV on 9 March 2026 and came together with IKV Chairperson Ayhan Zeytinoğlu, Vice-Chairpersons Prof. Halûk Kabaalioğlu and Sedat Zincirkıran, Executive Board Members Dr. Zeynel Abidin Erdem and Murat Hazıroğlu, Board Members Yavuz Altun, Hakkı İsmet Aral, Ali Sami Aydın, Ömer Gülsoy, Adil Erkoç, Akansel Koç and Mustafa Şenoacak, as well as Supervisory Board Members Abdurrahman Aslantaş and Mustafa Zeytin.

During the meeting, Minister Prof. Bolat addressed current issues in Türkiye-EU relations, particularly the Customs Union and the “Made in Europe” criterion. He also highlighted the critical role of the business community and civil society in the EU process and received information about IKV’s activities.
