IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas participated as a speaker in the webinar titled “Potential Impacts of the EU-India Free Trade Agreement” held on 12 February 2026 as part of the TİSK Meetings. Speaking at the webinar, which opened with remarks by TİSK Secretary General Akansel Koç, Assoc. Prof. Nas said that the EU-India FTA posed a serious risk of unfair competition and market loss for Turkish industrialists.

Assoc. Prof. Nas emphasised that in order to remedy this injustice, the Türkiye-EU Customs Union must be updated urgently, and Türkiye must be included in the decision-making processes.
