A delegation consisting of the President and members of the World Politics Student Council visited IKV on 21 May 2026 and met with IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas, Deputy Secretary General M. Gökhan Kilit and Research Director Çisel İleri. During the meeting, participants were briefed on IKV’s activities and current work, the IKV Brussels Office, the IKV Internship Programme and the IKV Istanbul EU Information Centre. Following this introduction, discussions focused on current issues in Türkiye–EU relations. The Foundation’s views were presented on topics including the modernisation of the Customs Union, the visa liberalisation process, the European Green Deal and Cyprus. The delegation was also informed that IKV’s internship programme is open to applications from interested university students. In addition, questions regarding the Foundation’s public information, communication and advocacy activities were answered.
