IKV ATTENDED THE WEBINAR ON THE POSSIBLE IMPACTS OF THE ‘MADE IN EUROPE’ PROCESS ON PUBLIC PROCUREMENT
IKV Expert Ahmet Emre Usta took part as a speaker in the webinar titled “Possible Impacts of the Made in Europe Process on Public Procurement”, organised by the Public Procurement Authority on 14 May 2026.
The webinar focused on the legal framework of the “Made in EU” requirements introduced under the European Commission’s proposed Industrial Acceleration Act, their implications for public procurement and support programmes, as well as the risks they pose for Türkiye, particularly in strategic sectors such as the automotive and energy-intensive industries.
The webinar was moderated by Head of Department at the Public Procurement Authority Dr. Erdem Bafra. Other speakers included Michael Bowsher KC and Dr. Şimal Efsane Erdoğan from King’s College London, Nina M-Hart from Pusan National University, Head of Department for the EU Single Market and Green Deal at the Ministry of Trade Elif Berrak Taşyürek, and Head of International Relations Department at the Public Procurement Authority Dr. Ahu Meryem Erdoğan.
