IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas took part as a speaker in a webinar organised by the association “Bir Dünya Kıvılcım” on 6 May 2026.

The association, founded by individuals educated in Türkiye who later moved abroad to continue their careers or studies, regularly organises webinars to inform its members about Türkiye–EU relations. The first webinar in the series focused on topics such as Türkiye–EU economic relations, the modernisation of the Customs Union, free trade agreements, adaptation to the green and digital transitions and visa liberalisation.

During the webinar, Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas delivered a presentation addressing the importance of Türkiye–EU economic and trade relations, the process of modernising the Customs Union, adaptation to the digital and green transitions and the competitiveness agenda.
