Presidency Of The Council Of EU
The presidency of the Council rotates among the EU member states every 6 months. With the “Trio Program” (Trio), which was launched in December 2011, a system of three-term presidency was introduced for the Presidency of the EU Council. This program brings responsibilities for EU state members which hold the presidency in regard to priorities determined within the framework of the trio presidency such as economic growth and stability, enhancement and facilitation of job opportunities, deepening of the Single Market and the enhancement of fiscal stability reforms.
