The IKV İstanbul EU Information Centre, in collaboration with the EU Delegation to Türkiye and hosted by İstanbul Ticaret University, announced that bicycles would be gifted to participants at the meeting titled “Mobility Talks – Building Sustainable Cities for Everyone” on 22 September 2025 to promote sustainable transport.

In this context, IKV Deputy Secretary General M. Gökhan Kilit visited İstanbul Ticaret University on 14 October 2025 to deliver the promised bicycles to students. During the delivery, the importance of increasing urban mobility, strengthening bicycle infrastructure and promoting environmentally friendly transport habits was emphasised once again.

IKV Deputy Secretary General Kilit thanked İstanbul Ticaret University Vice Rector Prof.  Hanifi Parlar, Transportation Systems Application and Research Centre Director Prof. Mustafa Ilıcalı, and Cycling Association President Murat Suyabatmaz for their support for the event and the bicycle delivery.
