Economic Development Foundation (IKV), in cooperation with Embassy of Poland in Ankara is organising a conference titled “Turkish-Polish-EU Relations in an Era of Geopolitical Turbulence: Connectivity, Security of Supply Chains and Resilient Economies” on May 30, 2025.
There will be simultaneous translation in Turkish and English at the conference.

The conference aims to discuss and analyse Turkish-Polish relations from an EU perspective on the occasion of Poland’s Presidency of the Council of the EU. Poland’s term presidency coincided with an especially turbulent period in terms of international affairs, transatlantic relations and continuing conflicts. Under all conditions, European security paradigm has to be invented a new and Türkiye’s European vocation has to be redefined based on a security and defence partnership. The conference will aim to discuss current debates on the changing conditions in Europe from a political economy perspective by focusing on areas of cooperation during the Polish term presidency. Moreover, the discussion will touch upon an issue how the cooperation between Poland and Türkiye may imply for the future of the bilateral relations and how Türkiye can contribute to connectivity and resilience issues in the European economy.
