IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas gave a speech at the webinar titled "European Parliament Elections" organized by Marmara University International Relations Research and Application Centre on 31 May 2024. Moderated by Prof. Dr. Zuhal Mert Uzuner, Director of MURCIR, the other speakers of the panel were Dr. Bahadır Kaleağası, Ayşe Yürekli and Dr. Demir Murat Seyrek. In her speech, Assoc. Prof. Nas drew attention to the role and importance of the European Parliament within the EU institutional structure. Assoc. Prof. Nas also spoke on how the far-right's rise has affected the far-right political groups' growing power in the EP.
