IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas attended the workshop on Türkiye-EU relations held in Sweden on 22-23 May 2024. The workshop, organised by the Stockholm University Institute for Turkish Studies, focused on the current state, future prospects, and opportunities in Türkiye-EU relations.

In her speech at the workshop, Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas highlighted that Türkiye-EU relations have been losing momentum for a long time and presented her proposals for revitalizing the relationship. Assoc. Prof. Nas drew attention to the process of updating the Türkiye-EU Customs Union and emphasized the importance of the developing EU digital agenda and the European Green Deal for Türkiye.
