IKV SECRETARY GENERAL NAS DELIVERED A SPEECH AT ISTANBUL BİLGİ UNIVERSITY EUROPE DAY SEMINAR
IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas participated in the Europe Day seminar organized by the International Relations Student Club at Istanbul Bilgi University on 9 May 2024, and gave a speech about Türkiye-EU relations.
In her speech, Assoc. Prof. Nas touched upon the problems and opportunities of Türkiye-EU relations and emphasized the importance of revitalizing relations. Assoc. Prof. Nas stated that there are three different areas of development in Türkiye-EU relations and listed them as the membership and accession process, the association relationship based on the Ankara Agreement and the Customs Union, and a possible strategic partnership that has been put forward by some groups in the EU.
After Dr. Emre Gönen and Prof. Dr. Özgün Erler Bayır completed their speeches, the panel ended with a question-and-answer section. Students showed great interest in the panel.
