IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas attended the meeting on "Progressive Views for the Future of EU Enlargement" organized by the Foundation for European Progressive Studies (FEPS) and the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) in Brussels on 16-17 April 2024. Participants from EU candidate countries discussed the EU enlargement process, institutional reforms and expectations of candidate countries from the EU.

Opening speeches were delivered by FEPS President Maria João Rodrigues, FEPS Secretary General Laszlo Andor and FES EU Office Director Christiane Kesper, during which Assoc. Prof. Nas expressed Türkiye's priorities and expectations as a candidate country. The conference continued with working group sessions and panel discussions.
