IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas attended the webinar on "Türkiye-EU Relations: Recent Developments, Challenges and Opportunities" at the Foreign Policy Institute Diplomat School on 26 January 2024. The historical dimension of Türkiye-EU relations, current developments and expectations were discussed at the event. Speaking on the current developments in Türkiye-EU relations, Assoc. Prof. Nas drew attention to the customs union update process and the effects of the Green Deal. Analysing the possibility of different alternatives for the future of relations, Assoc. Prof. Nas stated that the revival of relations depends on certain conditions and emphasised that the goal of full membership continues to be the main target of relations. The event ended with a question and answer session.
