IKV organised the second EU simulation event on 20-21 December 2023. In the simulation of the European Parliament, many participants from different universities and institutions discussed the EU's enlargement policy. The opening speech of the event was given by IKV Research Director Çisel İleri. In her speech, Research Director İleri talked about the missions and activities of IKV since its establishment.

In the closing speech of the event, IKV Deputy Secretary General M. Gökhan Kilit emphasised that IKV will continue to work to raise the awareness of the society about the EU, especially among young people. After the public opinion survey presentation, IKV Deputy Secretary General Kilit answered questions from the participants on the EU accession process of Türkiye.

After the closing speech of the event, the certificate and award ceremony took place. IKV Deputy Secretary General Kilit presented the awards to the participants who stood out with their performance during the two-day event and were selected as the best delegate and honorary delegate.
