IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas participated as a speaker at the meeting titled "The Role and Importance of the Private Sector in Combating Violence against Women" hosted by Kocaeli EU Information Centre and TOBB Kocaeli Women Entrepreneurs Board on 5 December 2023. Assoc. Prof. Nas pointed out that the fight against violence against women should be multi-faceted and that deterrence mechanisms against all forms of violence should be strengthened. The panellists also highlighted the experience of women working in the private sector and discussed possible solutions.
