IKV İstanbul EU Information Centre organised a "Coffee Talk" event on 5 December 2023 at the IKV library focusing on the theme of Türkiye-EU relations from the past to the present.

Delivering the opening speech of the event, IKV Deputy Secretary General M. Gökhan Kilit informed the participants about IKV and EU Information Centres and gave the floor to IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas. In her speech, Assoc. Prof. Nas touched upon the historical background of Türkiye-EU relations, current challenges, and potential areas of cooperation. The event ended with an exchange of views where participants shared their ideas and questions.

During the event, the participants had the opportunity to visit Türkiye's first EU library, examined the books on the EU and Türkiye-EU relations and received information on the latest IKV publications.
