IKV Istanbul EU Information Center participated in the event called Türkiye-EU Youth Forum, New European Bauhaus, organized by the EU Delegation to Türkiye between 9-12 October 2023 in Ankara, with four students. At the event, EU Information Center coordinators from 19 different cities and young architects, designers and engineer candidates from all over Türkiye sought answers to the question of how sustainable cities can be built. 

Started on 9 October 2023, the opening speech of the event was delivered by Ramunas Janusauskas, Head of the Communication Section of the EU Delegation to Türkiye. Following the opening speech, students actively participated in the workshops and presented their ideas to create livable cities.

On the second day of the event, Head of the European Union Delegation to Türkiye, Ambassador Nikolaus Meyer-Landrud attended the "New European Bauhaus" event. In his speech, Ambassador Landrut talked about Türkiye-EU relations and how to create a more sustainable life and answered questions from the students. Ambassador Landrut emphasized the importance of the basic principles of the New European Bauhaus and said "Beautiful, Sustainable and Together".

Many workshops, panels and activities were organized in the following days of the event. Students presented innovative strategies that will inspire their future work and empower cities.
