IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas made a presentation at the II. National Political Science Congress organised by the Turkish Political Science Association at Bilkent University on 7 October 2023. Speaking at the panel titled "The Future of Globalisation, the EU and Change in the International System", Assoc. Prof. Nas discussed the impact of the European Green Deal on Türkiye-EU Relations. Stating that the European Green Deal, which created a transformational green growth model for the EU, changed the production and consumption patterns in the EU's domestic market as well as giving a new direction to the trade policy, Assoc. Prof. Nas emphasised that the process was also transformative on Türkiye-EU relations. The panel was chaired by Nilgün Arısan Eralp, Director of EU Studies at TEPAV, and the other speakers were Prof. Atila Eralp and Prof. Fuat Keyman.
