IKV İstanbul EU Information Centre participated in the Gen-E European Entrepreneurship Festival, a major entrepreneurship event held at Istanbul WOW Hotel and Congress Center between 11-14 July 2023. With the participation of 41 countries, young people between the ages of 15-24 competed for the best company and best start-up awards at this entrepreneurship festival in İstanbul. Led by JA Europe and hosted by the Young Achievement Education Foundation, the event was opened with speeches by CEO of JA Europe Salvatore Nigro, President of JA Europe Adam Warby, President of JA Turkey Çelik Ören and CEO of JA Turkey Seçil Yıldırım Çelebi.

On 12 July 2023, high school and university students from 41 different countries attended the event and presented their projects in their categories. On 13 July 2023, a fair area was set up to learn more about the projects and visit the juries. Apart from the project presentations, various companies shared information about entrepreneurship with the participants. In addition to the projects, educational activities were also organized throughout the event. These activities gave students the opportunity to improve themselves and meet people from different countries. The event ended on the night of 13 July 2023 with the announcement of the winners among high school and university students, gala dinner and award ceremony.
