IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas attended at Medipol University’s EU-(TR)ADE Module event on 27 April 2023. IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas made a presentation on “European Green Deal and Türkiye-EU Relations” at the event moderated by module coordinator Prof. Rana Atabay Kuşçu.

In her speech, Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas gave basic information about the European Green Deal and discussed its implications for Türkiye. Assoc. Prof. Nas emphasized the need for Türkiye, an EU candidate and customs union partner, to adapt to the process of change in the EU. After mentioning the changes caused by the European Green Deal in the European market and the legislative process, Assoc. Prof. Nas emphasized that the rapidly renewed norms and standards have changed the way of doing business in Europe. The EU-(TR)ADE Module is supported by the EU Erasmus+ program and includes comprehensive analysis and information studies on the EU Green Deal, its effects on trade policy and Türkiye-EU relations.
