IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas attended the opening meeting of the Jean Monnet module titled “EU Integration and Türkiye (IntegrEUtor)” carried out by Istanbul Technical University on 2 February 2023. In the meeting organised online, after the presentation of the project coordinator Academic Dr. Alper Yurttaş, ITU Vice-Rector Prof. Bülent Güloğlu gave a speech. After that, IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas discussed the current situation and expectations in relations between Türkiye and the EU. Assoc. Prof. Nas also underlined the importance of the EU studies in Türkiye. The last speaker of the meeting, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı discussed Türkiye’s achievements in the EU process and laid emphasis on the importance of Türkiye’s full membership goal. The meeting ended with the Q/A session.
