The Türkiye-EU High Level Business Dialogue Meeting, which was hosted by TOBB President and (EUROCHAMBRES) Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and EUROCHAMBRES President Luc Frieden, was held in İstanbul on 26 October 2022. IKV Chairman Ayhan Zeytinoğlu was among the participants of the meeting which was attended by Trade Minister Dr. Mehmet Muş, European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Olivér Várhelyi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı and business representatives from Türkiye and the EU. 

During the meeting in which the positive agenda, modernisation of the Customs Union and the importance of the establishment of the Türkiye Investment Platform in the process leading to Türkiye’s EU membership were discussed, participants emphasized that the trade relations between Türkiye and the EU are getting stronger day by day.
