THE SECOND REPORT OF THE PROJECT TITLED “OVERCOMING GLOBAL PROBLEMS THROUGH LOCAL COOPERATION: THE CASE OF IMM” WAS PUBLISHED
The second report of the project titled “Overcoming Global Problems Through Local Cooperation: The Case of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality” carried out by IKV with TEPAV and IPM has been published. Financed by the Center for Applied Turkey Studies (CATS) and the Mercator Foundation, within the scope of the project, the role of local governments in climate change, local policies for vulnerable groups and the solutions that can be developed by mutual cooperation between local governments were discussed.
The second report of the project is titled “Climate Change Adaptation and Its Impact on Vulnerable Groups: Berlin Municipality Case Study”. The report, co-authored by IKV's researchers Mehmet Can Sezgin and Nagehan Nur Uysal, deals with the climate change related projects and policies of Berlin local authorities, and examines the practices that are inspiring and can be taken as a model for IMM.
