IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas attended the workshop organised by the “EU-Turkey Bridge,” which is a working group on Turkey-EU relations, on 28 May 2022 and gave a presentation on “The Effects of the European Green Deal on Turkey-EU Relations.” In the workshop titled “Tying up Loose Ends of EU-Turkey Relations: Developing Strategies for Future Research,” experts and researchers evaluated current issues, developments, and the overall effects of the European Green Deal on Turkey-EU relations. In her speech, Assoc. Prof. Nas stated that the European Green Deal, which would trigger a harmonisation process for Turkey and allow relations to be restructured based on mutual benefit, has a revitalising effect on Turkey-EU relations.
