IKV organised a webinar entitled "Syrian Asylum Seekers in Turkey" in cooperation with Marmara University Institute of European Studies on 13 May 2022. The topics dicussed in the webinar included the integration of Syrian refugees and the role of the press, the reflections of the news about Syrians in the press during the COVID-19 period, disinformation in the press about Syrians, the role played by the agencies in the arrival of Syrians in Turkey, the religion factor in the choice of refugees to Turkey and finally the economic effects of Syrian refugees on Turkey. The webinar ended after a question and answer session.
