The IKV brief entitled “Modernising the EU-Turkey Customs Union” authored by IKV Junior Researcher Ahmet Emre Usta was published by IKV Brief Series.

Analysing the main problems concerning the functioning of the Customs Union, the brief note examines why the current Customs Union should be upgraded and the road so far has reached in the modernisation process. Finally, the brief evaluates what effects possible scenarios in addressing these problems could have on the parties.
