IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas participated in two programmes broadcast on Medyascope on 24 February 2022. In the programme called "Açık Oturum" prepared by Alphan Telek, the reflections of the Ukraine crisis on Russia, the US and the EU were discussed. In the programme, Assoc. Prof. Nas analysed the EU’s reaction to Russia's invasion of Ukraine and its repercussions. Indicating that the Russian invasion poses a significant threat to European security, Assoc. Prof. Nas stated that this situation strengthens the solidarity against Russia within NATO and the EU. Also participating in the programme were Ambassador (R) Faruk Logoğlu and Dr. Selin Nasi.

IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Nas also took part in the programme entitled “What Kind of a World? What Kind of Turkey?” prepared by the Istanbul Policy Center and presented by Pelin Oğuz and discussed why Turkey should phase out coal by 2035 in the context of the European Green Deal. The other speakers of the programme in which the joint statement by IKV, TEPAV and IPC calling for Turkey to phase out coal by 2035 were Prof. Güven Sak and Dr. Ümit Şahin.
