The publication titled "Approaches of Political Groups in the European Parliament to the Europe of Crises" (in Turkish), which was edited by Dr. Zühal Ünalp Çepel and published by IKV, deals with the European Parliament which is the only EU institution directly shaped by the people and represents the European peoples.

The publication fills an important gap in the literature in terms of understanding the positions of political groups in the EP which represent the peoples of Europe, not the Member States. Distinguished researchers discuss the attitudes of political groups towards various crises that the EU has had to face in recent years. PhD students Elif Cemre Beşgür, Adem Kurtar, Burcu Kiper, Sarp Kayrak, Mirzet Müezzinoğlu analyse how different political groups in the EP approach phenomena such as the migrant crisis, economic crisis, Brexit, the climate crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic and Turkey’s EU membership.

We believe that our publication will be an important resource for researchers studying or wondering about Turkey-EU relations in general, and EU institutions in particular, and will contribute to a better understanding of the EU in Turkey.
