IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas discussed the European Green Deal at the webinar organised by Dokuz Eylül University Institute of Economics and Administrative Sciences on 9 December 2021. In the webinar attended by academics and students, Assoc. Prof. Nas discussed the origins, objectives and scope of the European Green Deal while stressing that it also created a crucial transformation process for Turkey. Pointing out that it was essential to reduce the carbon footprint and accelerate the transition to renewable energy in this process, Assoc. Prof. Nas stated that a transformation process that concerns all segments of society was underway.
