IKV General Secretary Assoc. Prof. Nas discussed “The European Green Deal and Its Effects  on Turkey” at the informational seminar on Green Deal jointly organized by TÜRKONFED, MARSIFED and Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Bursa on 8 December 2021. In her presentation, IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Nas indicated that the European Green Deal brought a comprehensive transition in entire European economy within the scope of the 2050 climate-neutrality objective. Stating that the Green Deal, which entails goals such as the transition to renewable energy resources, promoting environmentally firiendly and climate friendly production methods and reducing the carbon footprint. is of great significance to Turkey as a Customs Union partner and a candidate country, Assoc. Prof. Nas drew attention to the need to provide infromation and guidance in particular to the SMEs in this process.
