IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas participated in the online panel organised within the scope of Turkish-German University's Master’s programme on EU and International Relations on 17 November 2021. IKV Secretary General Nas discussed the current developments in Turkey-EU relations at the event. Assoc. Prof. Nas pointed out that although Turkey-EU relations have become quite tense, complex and uncertain in the recent period, relations are indispensable for both actors. Highlighting that Turkey-EU relations should be evaluated in the context of global developments, Nas stated that geopolitical uncertainty and challenges increase the importance of the development in Turkey-EU relations. The online panel was moderated by Wolfgang Wessels and continued with a question and answer session.
