IKV General Secretary Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas gave a lecture on “The European Green Deal and Its Effects on Turkey” within the scope of "Öğlen Arası" (Lunchtime) in-company training programme of Digital Customs Services (DCS) on 20 October 2021. Assoc. Prof. Nas discussed the basic elements, development process and implications for Turkey of European Green Deal. Assoc. Prof. Nas also gave information on the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism which was proposed by European Commission within the framework of the “Fit for 55” package presented on 14 July 2021 and touched upon the importance of this mechanism for exports to EU.
