Emphasizing that alignment with the Green Deal could not be conducted through instructions from a single center, IKV Secretary General Nas highlighted the need for cooperation and for different organisations to work together with public institutions, and pointed out to the fact that the change should include all actors and sectors as it involved the entire supply chain. Referring to the importance of awareness raising by non-governmental organizations on the topic, Assoc. Prof. Nas stated that IKV was making an effort to raise awareness on the green transformation but this effort would only be sufficient to a certain extent. Finally, stressing the need to adopt policies and recommendations on how a just transformation would be achieved and how sectors would adapt to it, Assoc. Prof. Nas underlined that it was important that decision-makers managed the process in cooperation with businesses.
