IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas commented on the German federal elections held on 26 September 2021 at NTV’s 13:00 news bulletin. IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Nas discussed the importance of the German elections, the expectations about the election results and the effects of possible coalition scenarios on Germany, the EU and Turkey. Assoc. Prof. Nas emphasized that the results of the elections, which will determine the transition to the post-Angela Merkel era, who has been serving as Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany since 2005, were of critical importance for the whole world, Europe and Turkey.
