The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu came together with European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Olivér Várhelyi at a working dinner hosted in his honour at TOBB on 6 September 2021. The working dinner was also attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, IKV Chairman Ayhan Zeytinoğlu and Head of the EU Delegation to Turkey Ambassador Nikolaus Meyer-Landrut. During the working dinner, views were exchanged on multiple dimensions of Turkey-EU relations including the strengthening of Turkey’s EU perspective, the modernisation of the Turkey-EU Customs Union and visa liberalisation.
