IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas attended the Civil Talks webinar organised by the Turkish Enterprise and Business Confederation (TÜRKONFED) on 6 July 2021. The global effects of the pandemic were discussed at the webinar, where the changes in the economy and how the business world should adapt to these changes were emphasized. IKV Secretary General Nas stated that the pandemic accelerated the change and transformation already underway and triggered a transition towards new ways of doing business. Assoc. Prof. Nas underscored that the EU attaches particular importance to the green and digital transformations in preparing for the post-COVID-19 era and that new standards, methods, and processes are being put into practice in this context. Other speakers of the webinar, which was also broadcast live on TÜRKONFED's YouTube account, included Paris Bosphorus Institute President Dr. Bahadır Kaleağası and World Turkish Business Council (DTIK) Balkans Regional Committee Chairman Ömer Süsli.
