On 13 June 2021, IKV Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Çiğdem Nas delivered a presentation on “The European Green Deal and Its Effects on Turkey” within the scope of the 14^th Boğaziçi Meeting organised online by the Center for European Studies Student Forum of the Boğaziçi University (CESSF). A two-day education seminar was held within the certificate program titled “Climate Change and Green Policies in Europe and Turkey”. Assoc. Prof. Nas, who was speaking on the second day of the program, explained the main features of the European Green Deal and emphasized that it requires a comprehensive transformation that necessitates a mind-set change. IKV Secretary General Nas, who stated that the behaviour patterns of producers and consumers and the production-consumption methods would change radically during this process, also highlighted that it is vital for Turkey to observe this process closely and take the necessary steps. Following the presentation, there was a Q&A session after which the program ended.
